Recognizing that people cannot learn or contribute to their community if needs are not met, families are connected to community resources.
For nearly 20 years the Verdes Christmas Project has supported Unlimited Potential families who have economic needs. Community members from Rio and Tonto Verde make the Christmas dreams of several families come true by ensuring that all family members have a gift for the holiday.
They assist families in paying bills, purchase needed household items and clothing, buy food cards and other items that many low income families cannot afford but often desperately need.
Unlimited Potential also enjoys a partnership with St. Mary’s Food Bank. Vegetables, fruit, bread, milk and other staple items are provided weekly to our low income families to ensure that their nutritional needs are met. In this way, the body and mind are nourished at Unlimited Potential.
